Strangers in a Strange Land - 12 March, 2011, Provence

12th March 2011,


We are sitting at the kitchen table in “our” house in Tourettes-Sur-Loup, hereafter referred to as TSL, I put my little French Dictionary on the table.

 La Dictionaire va a Provence
Pour le premier fois!





And I realize I already have what I came for: to be a stranger. To have given up one home (Cape Cod) and clung to the nest of the other (New York) we come here to someone else’s home and we surrender to its otherness.
